Are You Ready To Start Writing Your Best Songs?

You’ve come to the right place.

Have you ever felt that your songs weren’t good enough? Do you find it nearly impossible to find time to write, let alone finish songs?

You’re not alone.

As a songwriter myself, I’ve faced the same insecurities.

    • My songs are full of cliches
    • Nobody would want to sing this
    • (insert name) is way better than me
    • My songs all sound the same
    • I’m never happy with any of my songs

Still, you’ve known deep down in your soul that your songs need to be heard. You have a sphere of influence in your band, local church, college campus, small group, and your home where your songs can give voice to others.

You not only have a passion…you have a responsibility.

"David is a very gifted songwriter and worship leader with a great heart for the Church. He has put together a precise and insightful book here that is easy to dive into and could be a great help to young songwriters looking to further develop their craft."

  1. Hey David,
I was wondering if you could do a blog on choosing a set list for traveling worship leaders. For example, one could have a great set list for their home church. The people could be familiar with the songs, but if they were to use that same set list at another church they’re asked to lead worship at, maybe as a guest, the people at that church might not be as engaged. What tips do you have for choosing songs for a “foreign” group.

    • Hey Jordan, I’d be happy to blog about this. Good idea. At first thought, what I’ve typically done is choose a setlist and run it by the event organizer/worship leader of that church. They have insight into what their church will know. Thanks for the writing material :)

  2. Thanks David! A bargain at twice the price. Can’t wait to put some of these songwriting gems into practice.
In fact, I’ll be encouraging all of my songwriters to get it!
